Ah, here is your fantastic gift for synthesis again! :D Lovely that light effect, and the surreal geometry of the room with those continuous lines on different walls.
It looks like a tragic farewell to me, with the lady laying her head on the man's shoulder, not wanting to see the light. I think the man must go in that light, and he bravely stands looking at it, but he's still part of the floor so I cannot imagine the end.
Of course that's my first interpretation, but I find it touching :-)

I got the same thing looking at this one... although my thought was more a couple cuddling watching the sunrise.. (would've been sunset had the color been less white) :D
